Not All Who Wander Are Lost

Not all who wander are lost. My new favorite quote. Its so true isn't it? Many believe if you wander and try to run away to find adventure, they think you're somehow lost? But maybe we've already found ourselves? This crop top describes my personality so much as I am always wandering off to find adventure. I am what you call, a free spirited soul.

Anyways, the complete attire is all from Primark. I purchased the crop top from St. Vincent's Charity shop. I always find the best priced clothing in there. I even got an original Chanel piece the other day for only €4!

The outfit I'm wearing here was cozy and comfy. It was a kind of bleak day so a cardigan was definitely needed.
I wore my velvet creepers as I was going to be walking a lot. Creepers feel like slippers.

No, that is not a real tattoo haha although I convinced my friend it was! Its actually fake. Remember those stick on tattoos that lasted about two days? I always loved them when I was a child.

The two necklaces I'm wearing are totally unique. The round one with the writing inside was handmade with Shakespearian quotes. I purchased it in a craft fair. The mini bottle has a little note inside quoting "Rescue Me". Unfortunately the boutique is closed that I bought it in.

Happy Saturday!

Call Me

Hey guys!
This T-shirt from Bershka is super cute. 1-800-Call Me.
I purchased it from St. Vincent's Charity shop.
I had to do this photoshoot quickly as I sacrificed this outfit in the rain.

You may have seen these bottoms before in some recent posts. I paired the tee with these to create an edgy urban look.
Of course, to add more edge, I wore my fishnet top underneath.
This is a really comfy outfit if you just want to go casual or you're running around doing shopping.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day and stay tuned for more posts!

Smells Like Teen Reindeer

A few weeks ago my friends and I decided to visit Phoenix Park to see the beautiful reindeer. One of them came up super close to me!
Of course I decided to dress like Kurt Cobain that day, henseforth the reason of the name "Smells Like Teen Reindeer" haha. Well the deer were quiet young so I guess it suits.

Anyways, I picked the wrong day to wear this outfit as it was pretty humid out. But its super cute huh? I feel like a female version of Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. Total grunge vibes.
I stole these rad docs from my bestie.

Stay tuned for more blogging!

Overalls

Its been a long time, I know. Sorry for going missing haha. Recently I was offered an internship in Powerscourt Center working with Marion Cuddy. I've been there a month now and I love it!

Here is a photoshoot I done around Powerscourt Center and Stephens Green Shopping Center. Both have unbelievable architecture! I just had to pose in my dungarees to create those Tumblr Vibes.
Can I please have a chandelier like that in my future home so I can stroll down my marble staircase dramatically? 💖

Oh yeah! The tye-dye T-shirt I'm wearing is hand designed by me. I purchased an oversized male T-shirt from Primark, twisted it and continued to add red and blue dyes. Its my favorite go to tee.
I used Dylon Dye 👌
That's right, I sat on the floor next to the "do not sit on floor" sign.

Happy Thursday guys!

Bohemian Vibes

Sorry I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to post. Follow me on my Instagram for daily posts @RetroChild96 💖
Anyways, I went to visit The Monument in Phoenix Park the other day. It is such a beautiful architectural piece and has so much history attached!
I wore this gorgeous cardigan I purchased in the charity shop and it is from a small shop call Be Young. I'm in love with this colour green! It reminds me of forest shades. The sleeves were super long but it was still comfy and gave a bohemian vibe. I paired them with denim skinny jeans and black docs.
I also found a cute little vintage cafe in Kilmainham and of course I had to take a pic of that Herbie Volkswagon.
Hope everyone is doing well!
See you soon.

Dublin City

Hey guys! How are all you lovelies today?
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been taking tours around Dublin city. Some of you may already know I am from Ireland, Dublin.
It is such a beautiful city and I'm sure I've mentioned this before. The architecture always has my attraction. You can tell how old the buildings are, yet it adds such a French vibe to it I think. The contrast, the details, everything! I love it.
Anyways, here is an outfit I wore to Dundrum on Saturday. I've only been there a few times and I get lost every time but its still a great experience to visit Dundrum for the day.
The top was purchased from a charity shop I work in. Unfortunately, I can't tell where it is from. The jeans and docs are from Primark, of course. I practically live in that shop haha.
I decided to go for a more Gothic look as I was inspired by a few bloggers on Instagram. The lace adds to the details on the outfit and of course, you will always see me wearing black. It creates such a sliming silhoette. The docs are pretty old and wrecked. I must invest in a new pair but I can't throw my babies away either.

If you haven't already, go follow me on Instagram: RetroChild96 💖
I post there a lot more often and let you know what I'm doing during the day.
Happy Wednesday guys! See you soon.

Adventure

Hey guys! Some of you may know, I'm always up for an adventure. I have a wandering spirit that likes to explore a lot. I guess you can call me a bit of a hippie?
I wanted to have a photoshoot in the depths of the forest. My friends and I went to Tymon Park. Its such a beautiful and peaceful place.
Oh! I have a story. The first picture is me sitting in a wooden fort. I found this wooden fort 4 years ago when I was in school. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I still do! Two years after I found it I was in college and there I met my best friend. I told her about the wooden fort I once found, little did I know, she was the one who created it!
That is true goals.
Anyways, I wore my favourite vintage jacket on Monday. This baby is from Shotsy Vintage but sadly its closed down now. I paired it with a skull tee I purchased from Primark only for €3! A bargain. The rest of the outfit is also from Primark.
My hair is styled into little space buns. They looked so cute and I think they match almost any outfit. Totally grunge looking.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
More posts soon so start tuned.
